SFD Unlock online: when you need it

SFD (Schutz Fahrzeug Diagnose) is the diagnostic protection used on VAG vehicles from 2020 onwards. Without an unlock, ODIS will not let you change coding, adaptations or parameters in protected modules.

SFD2 adds a second level for safety-critical systems: steering, driver assistance and the gateway. The unlock is time-limited and must be requested again once the session is closed.

We issue SFD Unlock online for 15€ per module. We need the VIN, the module address and an active ODIS connection to the car.

If ODIS still returns an error after the unlock, message us on WhatsApp — usually the token has expired or the part number does not match.
